David "Dave" Michael Paradis, Jr. 46, passed away at his home on December 2, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. Dave was born on September 18, 1974 in Haverhill, MA to Dave and Nancy Paradis. Dave was a very active man who participated in many activities throughout his life. He enjoyed "Candle Pin" bowling back east, he bowled in leagues for many years. He was disappointed to find that "Candle Pin" bowling hasn't found its way to Oklahoma but that gave him more time to be active in the Oklahoma Paintball scene. Dave truly enjoyed playing paint ball and was thrilled to find many wide open spaces and wooded areas that allowed paintball. He and a friend even convinced a small Oklahoma town to open up an area exclusively for paintball; that "convincing" included the Mayor and town sheriff! During high school Dave was an Umpire for different baseball leagues. He had a command of the rules and the maturity to perform that high pressure job. Dave was an avid card and domino player as well as a self-described computer "geek", everyone who knew Dave that was having computer problems knew where to go. Dave is survived by his loving wife Cynthia "Cindy"; son Jonathan both of Oklahoma City; his parents; his brother Keith and wife Tara Paradis, his sister Amy and husband Mike Nicoloio; brothers-in-law Perry and wife Donna Bennett, Phil and wife Darla Bennett; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends. Due to the current COVID-19 situation the family is planning on celebrating David's life in late spring or early summer of 2021 when everyone can safely get together. Please check back to this obituary for when the celebration will be held.
