David Nau Yeager

David Nau Yeager, a beloved son, father, and brother passed away on April 16, 2024, in Oklahoma City. He was born on June 16, 1969, in Kontum, Viet Nam. A celebration of David’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Smith and Kernke N. May Chapel.

David was a lover of all sports, soccer being one of his favorites. David had a true passion for fixing cars which led him to enjoy visiting Pull Aparts to get parts for his vehicles. He took pride in being the go-to family mechanic, always ready to work on their vehicles.   He enjoyed being the head mechanic on all his personal cars. David was quiet but loved researching on the computer and solving problems.

David was a chef by trade. He loved cooking and found his place at Mercy hospital where he worked for 17 years. He enjoyed cooking for and serving the meals for the Sisters at Mercy. He worked as a chef at two other hospitals before becoming ill.

David was a dedicated and hard worker not only as a chef but as a father, son, and friend. He was very punctual in any commitment he made and always held true to his word. His family could always depend on him. At times David held down three jobs to provide for himself and his family.

David is proceeded in death by his father, Bill Yeager. David leaves behind his loving son, Nikko Nau Yeager and Nikko's mother, Maria Moreno. He is also survived by his mother Miriam Reasoner and her husband Lee Reasoner, and sister Starla Young and a host of other family members and friends.

We are so thankful for the opportunity God gave me to be his mother and the wonderful blessing he was in our lives. David … you will be greatly missed and we love you so much.
