Dawn Davis-Cain

Danya Dawn Davis Cain, 74, passed away on October 2, 2015 in Tishomingo, OK. She was born April 13, 1941 in Wichita Falls, TX to Thomas Malcom Dobbins and Mary Lou Dobbins. Dawn earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the University of Oklahoma, was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She was actively involved in Rotary Club 29, New View of Oklahoma, New Leash on Life, Jr. League of Oklahoma and the Alliance Dance Club. She and her husband were also very active in the Builders Sunday School Class at St. Luke's Methodist Church. She was a realtor for ReMax Realty as well as Metro First Realty. She was loved by all who met her. Her special friends were (Big Sister) Pat Harbison, Kris Frankfurt, John and Debbie Snodgrass, and Carol Keymer. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Thomas Corbin Davis, and Richard's daughter Catherine Cain. She is survived by her husband Richard Cain of OKC; her daughter, Kristin Davis of Edmond; Richard's children, Curtis and Tracy Cain of Edmond, Richard Cain, Jr. and Carla Yardley of OKC, and Mary Cain of Edmond; grandchildren, and many other family members and loved ones. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Leash on Life of Oklahoma, 7949 S 1-35 Service Rd, OKC 73149. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday October 14, 2015 at Tishomingo Church of the Nazarene at 6:30 pm. There will also be a Memorial service Thursday October 15, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Methodist Church in OKC.
