Deborah Sue 'Debbie' Bell

Deborah "Debbie" Sue (Meyers) Bell peacefully, met her Heavenly Father on July 9th 2010. Debbie was born on May 7th 1950 to Elvin and Lily Meyers of Oklahoma City. Debbie LOVED LIFE and LIVED LIFE to the fullest. Grace, Style, Compassion, Energy, Love, Tenacity, Humor, Devotion, Kindness, and above all Faith, exuded from Debbie in all that she did. Debbie was as contagious as they come. She loved Elvis Presley, shopping, competing in pageants, volunteering, her Sunday school class, watching Natalie, and her horse Nelson show and above all Debbie loved being a grandmother, wife, sister, mom, daughter and friend. At the age of 44, Debbie was crowned "Mrs. Tulsa" and went on to place 2nd runner up in the Mrs. Oklahoma pageant in 1994 as one of the 'most mature' competitors. That is how she lived her life. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed. Debbie was preceded to heaven by her father, Elvin L. Meyers. Her life is lived on through her most amazing and loving mother (who Debbie said is 'the wind beneath her wings'), Lily Meyers of Edmond; devoted husband Doug Bell of Edmond; daughter Natalie Bell of Oklahoma City; brother Danny Meyers and wife Paula of Edmond; step-daughters Molly Malone and husband Brad of Memphis, Tennessee, and Kelsey Elston of Oklahoma City and grandchildren Lilly, Lane, Mason, and Georgia Elston of California and McKenzie and Jake Malone of Tennessee. Thank you to Edmond Health Care for caring for Debbie for so many years and Tuscany Village Nursing Center for the last few months. Our deepest thanks to Shirley Smith and Linda Filbin, your time, service, and love towards Debbie was a blessing to our family and we are forever grateful.
