Dolores Joy Edmiston

Dolores Joy Edmiston passed away from this life on July 17th, 2012. She was born on August 9th, 1929 to Anthony and Palma Ravaioli of Haileyville, OK. After graduating Valedictorian of Haileyville High School, she attended Oklahoma State University where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Upon graduating with a business degree, she married her college sweetheart, Edward P. Edmiston. During their 58 years of marriage they lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Houston. Recently in OKC, she has been involved with St. Vincent De Paul Society at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church and a volunteer at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. She and her husband were in several dance groups and were avid travelers world-wide. She is survived by her husband, 6 children and their spouses, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a brother. She is preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren. A 6 pm rosary and 7 pm prayer service will be held at Smith & Kernke Friday July 20th. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday July 21st at Epiphany Catholic Church 7336 West Britton Road. Interment will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society of Epiphany Catholic Church.
