Donald L. Johnson

Donald L. Johnson passed away from this life on February 10, 2020, at his home in Edmond, OK at the age of 95. Born on June 10, 1924 to Carl Ernest and Myrtle Stults Johnson, he was the 3rd of 8 children and grew up on the family farm near Altus, Oklahoma. Donald enlisted in the United States Navy in 1942 and served in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. After being discharged in 1946, he married Jane Parker, who preceded him in death as did his son, David. He married Helen H. Brown in 1987 who also preceded him in death. Don graduated from OSU in 1950 with a degree in accounting. He retired from Federal Highway Administration in 1982, after 32 years of service. He also retired from Oklahoma Department of Transportation in 1991. Donald's funeral service will be held on February 18, 2020 at 2:00pm at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel.
