Donna Wayne Cohn

Donna Wayne Stewart Cohn passed away Friday, November 20, 2020. She was born in Oklahoma City on March 23, 1948, to Wayne and Rosalie Stewart. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Jordan Cohn Sutherland. She is survived by her beloved husband, Doug Estep, her daughter Dr. Michell Cohn and granddaughter Jadyn Cohn Sutherland; her son Zachary Cohn, wife Meghan, and their daughter, Adelyn Rose.Donna attended John Marshall and graduated with the Class of 1966. She began her career working in the Oklahoma Supreme Court system and then became a realtor in 1987. She loved working with people and spent over 30 years doing what she loved, retiring with Churchill Brown in 2018.Her children, Michell and Zac, have been the purpose and joy of her life. She was a devoted mother dedicated to her family's happiness. Her two granddaughters, Jadyn and Adelyn, are miracle babies that she treasured immensely. Any moment spent with her granddaughters brought joy to her heart and a smile to her face. She and her husband, Doug, met in 2004, married in 2008, and rarely spent time apart. Donna thought of him as one of the best things that happened to her. She loved the life they built together and cherished him dearly.Donna loved travelling, gardening, reading, birdwatching, and her many pet cats and dogs over the years. Many of Donna's favorite moments were spent in the warm sunshine of Florida or in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. She and Doug loved their second home in Florida and, in recent years, spent more and more time there enjoying the warm weather.She was a devoted member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church. Donna's love for the Lord and her dedication to her faith were evident to all who knew her. In her final wishes, Donna reminds us all that "life is short, so stop and smell the roses, and tell those you love how important they are to you." Donna was a generous, compassionate, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed immeasurably. A private service for the family will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020. A celebration of Donna's life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Pets & People Humane Society or the Oklahoma Humane Society.
