Dora Bernece Carey

Bernece Carey passed away in her home on March 13, 2015, with family at her side. She is preceded in death by parents, Wesley and Esther Helton of Guthrie, OK, sister Victoria Douglas, brother Johnny Helton and her husband of 59 years Paul Carey, Jr. She leaves behind her sister Shirley Mullino, of Edmond, OK, her two daughters, Karen Caesar and Linda Harris, of Oklahoma City, her grandchildren Carrie Chang, Lee Caesar, Jr., Paul Caesar, and Nick Binda, ten great grandchildren, Christian, Chris, Dylan, and Devin Chang, Kylee and Kalen Caesar, Brett Caesar, Kirk, Jayson and Mattie Binda and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Bernece is a Guthrie High School graduate of the class of 1943. After graduating she married her childhood sweetheart Paul and continued to live a very happy and fulfilling life. She loved spending time with her family and was a terrific cook and hostess.
