Doris Elaine Ayotte McGuire passed away peacefully November 23, 2015, after suffering a massive stroke. Born April 15, 1915, in Leominster, MA, the daughter of Aurora and Edward Ayotte. What a beautiful life for 100 years. Wife, mother, homemaker, grandmother, great-grandmother; her famous, fantastic cookies will be greatly missed. She was married to Paul Francis McGuire on October 22, 1936, at St. Joseph's Cathedral in OKC. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul on August 3, 1989, and sisters, Arlene Obenshain and Clarice Benway. She is survived by sister, Laura Confer of Long Beach, CA; three sons, Paul Gerald "Hilary" McGuire and wife Phyllis, Bro. Kevin McGuire, OSB of Shawnee, and John Franklin McGuire of OKC; daughter, Kathleen Monica McGuire Milot and husband James S. Milot; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be at Smith & Kernke N. May from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday followed by a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Damien Catholic Church, 8455 NW 234th Street.
