Doris Louise Andrews

Doris Louise Andrews passed away peacefully at her home on October 6, 2017 at the age of 93. She was born on December 6, 1923 in Henryetta, OK to Bertha J. (Gotts) and Albert H. Faucett. Doris spent her elementary years in Henryetta, OK then moved to Torrance, CA where she attended high school and met her future husband Howard Andrews. They were married and lived in Torrance during his service in WWII. In Fontana, CA she was very involved in the community of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and taught kindergarten there for 15 years. In OKC she worked in the finance department for Dub Richardson Ford for 30 years before her retirement. While living in OKC she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Howard A. Andrews, one brother and two sisters. She is survived by her son Rick Andrews (Pam); grandchildren Hillary Depe (Kent), Rick Andrews, Jr. (Donna), Mark Andrews (Jamie), and Timothy Andrews (Nicole). Doris is also survived by her great grandchildren Nicole Andrews, John Depe, Erika Andrews, Alexander Andrews, Ryley Andrews, Lily Andrews, Owen Andrews and Leah Andrews. Visitation will be 9am to 4pm on Thursday, October 12th at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1pm on Friday, October 13th at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
