Doris Mae Kelly

Doris Mae Kelly passed away October 15, 2012 with her family at her side. She was born January 8, 1927, in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Emil and Maude Sides. She attended Capitol Hill High School and graduated from Classen. She was employed with Apco Oil for several years. She later worked and retired from DHS. She enjoyed working in the yard and gardening. She was a devoted wife and mother and was very supportive of all of her boy's activities. She is survived by her husband, Harold Kelly; four sons, Bill Magness and wife Sonya of Tulsa, Ross Magness and wife Debbie of OKC, Richard Magness and wife Leslie of Afton, and Patrick Magness and wife Brenda of Frisco, TX; three stepsons, Harold Kelly II and wife Betsy of Edmond, Charles Kelly and wife Brenda of Agra, and David Kelly of Edmond; a brother, Richard Sides of Tulalip, WA; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Special thanks to Cypress Springs Nursing Home and Full Life Hospice for making her final days as comfortable as possible. Memorial service will be celebrated Friday, October 19 at 10 a.m. at Watchorn Chapel at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made in Doris' memory to St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 222 NW 15th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73103.
