Dorothy R. Peden

Dorothy R. Peden was born on December 11, 1919, and departed this earth for her heavenly home on February 15, 2013. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, friends, and her church, The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Dorothy grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri; went to business school; and retired from the Social Security Office in Kansas City, Missouri. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Clifford, and her daughter, Mary Kay. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Cliff and Teresa Peden, and grandsons, Adam Hooper and Wade Peden, and granddaughter and husband, Amber and Blake Pankey. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Bonnie Poolman and brother, Dick Poolman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, February 18, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady's Catholic Church.
