Dorothy passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born to Irvin and Erma Hamby on February 5, 1947, in a small cabin on a hill in Ozark, Arkansas. As a small child, the family moved to Oklahoma where she spent most of her childhood being raised at Meadow Lodge Dairy Farm. Dorothy attended Western Heights School district from elementary until she graduated Valedictorian of the 1st 4 year graduating class. Her Uncle Leo Curry introduced her to James Lee Stimac, which she quickly realized was the love of her life. They were together as best friends and soulmates for 53 years. During their 53 years together, their family grew to be daughter, Diana and her husband Steve Wilson; three grandchildren, Travis Wilson and his wife Molly, and granddaughter Alyssa Wilson. She was employed at Drapery Manufacturing in Oklahoma City most of her working career, until she retired. Her husband fulfilled their dream of moving to Lake Eufaula. Where she remained until her passing. She had a great love for her family and friends. In addition to her loving husband, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren; she is survived by her sister, Barbara Finley; one aunt, Emma Collins; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Margie Bandy, Joe Stimac, Tommy Stimac, Joan Cunningham, Dana McDaniel, Lynn Anderson, Matt and Phyliss Stimac, Tammy and John Jergen, Roy and Crystal Stimac, and multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Standifer, six brother-in-laws, Anthony Stimac, Neison Bandy, Dan Anderson, Ray Standifer, Rodney Finley, Paul Cunningham; sister-in-law, Tona Knox, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
