Dr. A. Robert "Bob" Johnson passed away Nov. 17, 2021. He was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Chicago, IL. Bob served our Country in the US Air Force. His passion for leading others to Christ began with the Navigators, an international, interdenominational Christian ministry whose purpose is the discipling of Christians with a particular emphasis on enabling them to share their faith with others. He later earned a doctoral degree in Psychology and established the Oklahoma Christian Counseling Center. Dr. Johnson continued his life's work in private practice of family and individual counseling until his death. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara W. Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Kay Johnson; four children, Heather Scott, Bruce Johnson, Eric Johnson and Jenny Dodd; Kay's children, Kathy Bonar and Steve Hartman; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.A viewing will be available at Smith & Kernke N. May from 10a.m. – 6p.m. Friday, Nov. 19.
