Lee Curtis Rittenhouse passed away comfortably in his home November 4, 2020. He was born June 23, 1948, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Mary Harker Rittenhouse and Ray Curtis Rittenhouse. He moved to Oklahoma City from Iowa when he was 12. He graduated from Putnam City High School and then earned a degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. He then attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned his medical doctor degree. Dr. Rittenhouse loved sports and music and was an avid republican. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by wife, Maha Assaleh Rittenhouse; brother, Mark Rittenhouse; sister, Susan Detwiler; granddaughter Renee Marie Moorad; a stepson, stepdaughter and many nieces, nephews and friends. Viewing will be Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at Smith & Kernke on N. May. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2020, at Rose Hill Burial Park. Contributions may be made in Dr. Rittenhouse's memory for cancer and neuropathy research.
