Duane Stephen Descher

Duane Stephen Descher was born Dec. 28, 1939 in Okeene, OK to Matilda (Farhar) Descher and Zeno Descher. He passed away on Aug, 23, 2011 at the age of 71. Duane was a devoted Father, Son, Husband, Grandpa, Brother and Deacon. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marty (Descher) Ringwald. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Annette Descher and her children, Samantha, Rose, Daniel and Sabrianna of OKC, Debbie Kirk and husband, Mike and their children, Alex and Jessica of Edmond, and Pam Noonan and husband, Bryan and their children, Savannah, Sierra and Cassidy of Marshall; as well as 13 brothers and sisters. Thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses who took such good care of him during his many hospital stays, for all the prayers and support. A viewing will be held on Thurs., Aug. 25, 2011 from 9am until the Wake Service at 7pm at Smith & Kernke Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Fri., Aug. 26, 2011 at 11am at St. Monica Church in Edmond. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
