Edmund Allen Mccarthy, Jr.

Edmund Allen McCarthy Jr. passed away on May 29, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 7, 1933 to Ruth and Edmund McCarthy. Ed graduated from John Carroll High School and Oklahoma University. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kevin. He is survived by his sisters – Judy Love of OKC, Denise Higgins and Diane Copenspire, both from Texas, and numerous nephews and nieces. Ed followed his Father in a professional career in outdoor advertising. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Chapel at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery at 10 am on Saturday, June 4th. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ed McCarthy Scholarship Fund at Bishop McGuinness High School, 801 NW 50th OKC, OK 73118.
