Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Holt, went to be with her heavenly Father and reunite with the love of her life, Bob on November 20, 2018. She was born July 9, 1930 in Gould, Arkansas to Gladys (Spurgeon) Broughton. Liz met Bob Holt while working at the Blass department store in Little Rock and they were married on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1951. They shared 65 years together before Bob's death in 2016. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1954 where they became long-time members of Messiah Lutheran Church. Bob and Liz had three girls, Linda, Laney and Lisa. Liz was a loving and dedicated homemaker, caring for her husband and girls and a devoted daughter to her mother and ailing grandmother. She later cherished cooking for and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would do anything for her grandkids and they adored her in return. Liz had impeccable taste in design and décor as a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her yard as well as feeding birds and even squirrels (to her husband's dismay). Her most cherished time was spent with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Quigley and husband Paul, Elaine "Laney" Carey and husband Mitchell and Lisa Boswell and husband David; grandchildren, Samantha Quigley Guffey and husband Matthew, Heather Carey Lovett, Justin Quigley, Erica Carey Smith and husband Brady, Andrew Boswell and wife Caitlin, Tanner Boswell and wife Gabby; great-grandchildren, Keaton and Gannon Guffey, Bosun Lovett, Sawyer Lovett, Sullivan Smith, E.T. Smith and Annie Boswell. Liz will be remembered for her loving spirit as well as her beauty inside and out.
Private family services were held to honor Liz.
