Elizabeth Marie "Beth" Main

Elizabeth "Beth" Marie Main passed away peacefully on September 4,2022, at home in Oklahoma City. Beth, the youngest of five children, was born in Escanaba, Michigan, to Greg and Barbara Main. She attended special education programming in Escanaba, East Lansing, and in Oklahoma City. While in school in OKC she played in the "Anyone Can" softball league, with the help of her buddy, Amy King.Beth loved to give big strong hugs, often with hard pats on the back. Some of her favorite things were music, pizza, ice cream, magazines, sitting on the back patio and holding champagne corks. Beth taught us to love unconditionally and not to sweat the small stuff.Beth was preceded in death by her father, Greg. She is survived by her mother, Barbara; brother, Todd Main (Theresa Amato) of Bethesda, MD; sister, Jennifer (Gary) Berwick of Rochester Hills, MI; brother, Adam Main (Jen DeVries) of Grand Rapids, MI; and sister, Katie (Josh) Fry of Yukon, OK. Beth also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, eleven nieces and nephews and dear friends, Julia Perez and Mary Diane Steltenkamp.The family wants to thank all of Beth's caregivers, who have provided loving care to her.A Wake will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at St. Eugene Catholic Church in Oklahoma City. The funeral mass will be live-streamed on the church YouTube page (St. Eugene Catholic Church OKC, OK) The family requests that those in attendance wear bright colors in celebration of Beth's life.In lieu of flowers, donations will support the Butterfly Fund at the University of MichiganC.S.
