Eva Webster, age 90, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2021, in Edmond Oklahoma. She was born January 20, 1931 in Beloit, Wisconsin. She grew up in Beloit and graduated from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Madison, Wisonsin, in 1952. She married her high school sweetheart, E. James (Jim) Webster, who loved her and her beautiful auburn red hair, on February 26, 1953. While growing their family, Jim and Eva moved to and lived in Monroe, Louisiana; Great Bend, Kansas; Ashland, Kentucky; and finally settled in Oklahoma City in 1967. Eva worked for years as a Registered Nurse, spending the majority of her years of employment in the newborn nursery at Baptist Hospital. This experience was invaluable and incredibly reassuring to her apprehensive children when bringing a newborn home from the hospital. While in Oklahoma City, she was an active member of St. Eugene Catholic Church. She played violin in her high school orchestra and through all stages of her life, music brought her joy. She was an avid gardener and an excellent cook. She deeply cared for her parents and solely took care of them until their passing's. Throughout her life, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her four children, Jim Webster (Sue Ann, Edmond, OK), Barbara Henson (Steve, Enid, OK), Bridget Cuyler (Matt, South Beloit, IL) and Amy Hughes (Ted, Edmond, OK); nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 2 great-step grandchildren.
