Faye Lee Leonhart went to be with the Lord on Feb. 21, 2012. She was born Sept. 25, 1918, in Idabel, OK, to Robert J. Hammonds and Josephine Pullham Hammonds. Faye was the youngest of several brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her first husband, Guerney Mcintosh. She came to OKC in 1943 and married Arthur Orville Leonhart, who predeceased her in 1980. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Julia Wall. Faye is survived by one daughter, Janie McIntosh Wall and her husband, Jack Wall, in OKC and two step-sons, Glenn Leonhart and his wife, Marilyn, from Columbus, IN and Don Leonhart and his wife, Winelle, from Plano, TX. Faye is survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Faye enjoyed playing bridge and was a telephone operator for many years at Sears, Western Union and General Electric. She enjoyed cooking and was skilled at hosting the family reunions for many years. She was a longtime member of Linwood United Methodist Church in OKC. Visitation will be held on Sat., Feb. 25, from 10a.m. until 11a.m. Services will be held at 2p.m. on Sat., Feb. 25 at Smith & Kernke Chapel.
