Frances Proctor blessed this world for 84 years. She and Roy Proctor had 3 children: Debbie Sue Proctor (deceased), Cheryl Ann Anderson, George Henry Proctor (married to Debbie). But, she raised many more children, including her grandchildren, Shawnae Elizabeth Robey (married to Bart Jay), Amy Lee Anderson, Jenny LeeAnn McFarland, and even began the raising of her great grandchild, Kennedy Elizabeth. The last decade was spent in Oklahoma City, most of which was in a nursing home, defying the odds and rallying after each "final" episode. It seemed nothing could keep her from that next visit weekly from her great grandbabies, Grace and James, so she could keep up with their soccer schedules! More radiant than she had appeared in years, with a warm glowing skin tone, shiny hair, and a big smile, she exclaimed indignantly - on her last day - that she was more "important" than soccer. So true!
Born to George and "Dollie" Kafer, Frances was 1 of 9 children. She was the second to youngest, but the last to pass this life. Her beloved siblings were: Albert Henry, George Herbert, Emma Louise, Dorothy Jane, Lee Roy, Frank, James Benjamin, and Bob Varnel. One of her life's loves was to maintain close and constant contact with her siblings and their children and grandchildren and to travel, no matter the distance, to be a part of every family affair. She also loved to "sightsee" by car, train, ship, and plane with her family and friends. Otherwise, you would find her in her "Saturday clothes" in the garden.
Frances leaves many to celebrate her life: Her children, George and Cheryl; grandchildren, Shawnae, Amy, Jenny, Deanne, Nicki, Danna, Donny, Drue; many great grandchildren, including, Kennedy, Kannon, Grace, James, Alidia, Kaylee, Adelyn, Eli, Coraline, Trey, Wyatt, and Paige. She was predeceased by both parents, all siblings, daughter Debbie, and granddaughter Ashley.
