Frank Puente: Wine, San Francisco, Mexico, Loving-Son, Corvette, hats, Dallas, Cadillac, Tulsa, "Frankie", IRS, Loving-Brother, Humor, Laughter, Beer, Loving-Uncle, Oklahoma, Don Pablo's, Mom, Pop,"Hey Kiddo", "Here's lookin' at you kid", Devoted-Friend, Classy, Cantina, Starched Shirts, Pioneer, Fideo, One-of-a-kind, Pan Dulce, Casa Dulce, Dry-cleaned pants, Suede Shoes, Home, Mexican Soup, Thorough, Quietly-loud, Reflective, The Dusty Dog, Laughlin (just kidding)..... These are SOME words and phrases that describe and WERE, Frank. He was unknowingly a pioneer of the family - being the first to receive a four-year degree from a university (Central State University) - and then his nephew, Tony Floyd, being the second. Frank lead the way - provided a light. Frank was a Rock to our family - in many ways a shelter to and for all of us if we were ever in need. Frank never hid behind words, and never tried to act like someone he was not. He was tried, and he was true. By the way, did anyone mention that he had possibly the greatest sense-of-humor granted/gifted to Man? He loved his parents. He loved his sisters. He loved his nephews and nieces. He loved his friends. He loved his Family. We all felt it, and are changed. Thank you, Brother, Uncle, Great Uncle, Great-great Uncle [yes], and Friend. Someone said recently, "He was bigger than Life"; anyone that knew him....he was, indeed. We miss you, already. Save us a seat or barstool next to you at Don Pablo's on the Distant Shore. Via con Dios, Frank. Visitation will be held at Smith & Kernke on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 9am-5pm with an Evening Prayer Service to follow at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
