Gary Allen Pellegrini

Gary Allen Pellegrini passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the age of 71. Gary was born January 19, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Henry and Eileen Pellegrini. At the age of 5, the family moved to Oklahoma City and Gary began his years of Catholic education at Rosary grade school and then graduating from Bishop Mcguinness High School in 1960. Gary was known for remembering everyone he went to school with and all of their families and was so proud of his alma mater. Gary was proud to have served as a US Marine. He retired from the US Post Office in 2002 and found golf to be his passion. Whether putting, chipping or cleaning a cart the golf course gave him joy! Preceding Gary in death were his mother and father, his brother, Lee Pellegrini, and nephew Anthony (Tony) Pellegrini. He is survived by his wife Judy Pellegrini, daughter Julie and her husband Brad Reeser of Edmond, son Hank and his wife Molly Pellegrini of Tulsa, brother Tony and wife Vicki Pellegrini, nieces Marie and Leisa and nephew Lance Pellegrini, and his grandchildren who he loved dearly and was so proud of; Aly, Chase and Carlee Reeser and Annie, Will, Meg and Charlie Pellegrini. A Celebration of Gary's life will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Everyone Gary met he treated as a friend; and we invite all of you to come celebrate his life with us. In lieu of flowers, donations to Bishop McGuinness Scholarship Fund in memory of Gary Pellegrini would be an honor to him.
