Gary Dixon Gray

Gary Dixon Gray passed away in Oklahoma City on February 16th, 2017 at the age of 67 after a courageous battle with cancer. Gary was born in Checotah Oklahoma on April 8th, 1949 to Dixon and Gertrude Gray, and was their only child. He grew up in Jones and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1967. For forty three years Gary worked at Tinker AFB as an expediter. Gary enjoyed watching sports and loved Sooner football. He liked to collect OU memorabilia and Native American art. Everyone who knew Gary was aware he was a man of few words but would always ask, what do you know? Gary is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday February 22nd, 2017 in Checotah Oklahoma at the First Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
