Graziano "Gary" Thomas Piccolo was born on April 23, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY. He passed peacefully on February 23, 2022, with his family by his side. Gary graduated from Lindenhurst High School in Lindenhurst, NY. He then attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Gary graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He then went on to earn his certification in public accounting. After graduating from college, Gary volunteered in the Army National Guard and served in the Air Force Reserve. He successfully operated his own accounting practice for over 35 years and was transitioning toward retirement.At the University of Oklahoma, he met his wife, Nancy Nichols. They were happily married for 54 years. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Josephine Piccolo, his in-laws Merrill and Ruth Nichols, and his brother-in-law Jim Nichols. Gary is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter Lisa Webb (Jack) and son Bradley Piccolo (Lori). He had five grandchildren, Meghan, Braden, & Jacob Webb, Arabella & Alexa Piccolo. Also surviving are his sisters Johanna Schmidt and Emily Piccolo and many loving nieces and nephews. Gary was a true patriot and loved his country. He loved God, family, friends, life and Oklahoma football. Cooking his "sauce" was a pleasure for the whole family, and it was constantly requested. It is well known that Gary was very generous, especially of his time and advice. He enjoyed talking politics and visiting Colorado. His greatest love was being with his family. Papa will be greatly missed.Because of his love for animals, donations may be made to Pets and People, Free to Live or a charity of choice.
