Georgia Lynn Foltz

Georgia Lynn Foltz was born in Bartlesville, OK to George and Geraldean Hamilton. She attended the University of Arkansas where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority and then transferred to the University of Oklahoma to complete her degree in speech pathology and education. Lynn met her beloved late husband David Foltz at OU and they spent 25 years together before he passed away in 2006. Lynn adored her two daughters Ali and Claire, and loved bringing her family and friends together by cooking a gourmet meal. During a sunny Oklahoma day you could find her buried in her garden or putting her creative and crafty side to work on any project she could get her hands on. She loved animals, especially dogs, her heart could never say no to a stray. Lynn will be deeply missed by her friends and family for the joy and laughter she brought to their lives. She is survived by her children Ali and Claire of OKC, loving mother Gerri of Tulsa, sister Lori Buntz and brother-in-law Mark, and their children Jennifer, Courtney, and Lindsay of Tulsa, brother-in-law Dan Foltz and wife Wendi and children Marshall and Harbour, sister-in-law Julie Webber and husband Rob, and their children Woody, Corbin, and Erin. A memorial service will be held Monday Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. at The Village United Methodist Church in OKC.
