Gerald "Jerry" Pryor

Gerald M. "Jerry" Pryor, passed away on February 11, 2018 at the age of 71. Jerry was born on May 24, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri to W.G. and Maria (Martinez) Pryor. In 1949 Jerry and his family moved back to Oklahoma City where he attended Mount St. Mary and then graduated from Southeast HS in 1964. He married Mary Ann Wolf in March 1967 and they had a wonderful life together for nearly 51 years. Jerry served in the US Army from August 1967 to 1969. Jerry was a Union Bricklayer and Stone Mason receiving his Gold Card for his many years in the trade upon retirement. Jerry was not only an avid sports fan of his beloved "Sooners" and "Red Sox", he was also a super athlete playing baseball and he enjoyed many years of golf with his sons and special friends. When he wasn't playing baseball, golf, or cheering on his favorite teams Jerry loved having his friends over for watching Saturday football which they did for many years. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tom. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; son Gary and wife Jennifer of OKC; son Greg and wife Dana of Lockport, IL; and his three precious granddaughters, Liberty, Cecily, and Elly who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his three sisters, Teresa Moisant; Priscilla Westbrook and husband Gary; Mary Anne Henry and husband Jay; his two brothers Phil and wife Rita; Joseph and wife Cynthia; and his sister-in-law Marta Manning along with many special nieces, nephews and dear friends. Jerry was truly loved and will be greatly missed. Family will be accepting friends during visitation on Friday at 5:30pm with an Evening Prayer Service at 6:30pm Friday at Smith & Kernke 23rd Street Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Saturday at St. James the Greater Catholic Church (4201 S. McKinley Ave., OKC, OK) with burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
