Geraldine 'Jerry Lasater' Lasater

Geraldine (Jerry) was born July 22, 1923 and went to be with our Lord on Thursday, October 24, 2013. She was born in Hartman, Arkansas and married Thomas E. Lasater on February 15, 1946. The couple later moved to Tulsa and then to Oklahoma City. She was a devoted Mom and homemaker that enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, sewing and most recently spending time with her great granddaughter, Piper. Jerry and her husband delivered meals on wheels for many years. She had been an active member of the Village United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Tom and Jerry had moved to St. Simeon's Episcopal Home in Tulsa, OK in February 2013. The family would like to express a warm thank you to each member of St. Simeon's for their compassionate care and thoughtfulness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Arizona Smith; husband, Thomas E. Lasater on July 16, 2013; brother, Eddie Mitchell Smith; and sister, Joy Bradshaw. Jerry is survived by her son, Bruce Lasater and his wife, Robin and their children, Jeff and Hailey Shannon; her daughter, Neisa Lock and her husband, Charles and their children, Casey Struttman and her husband, Jeff and their daughter, Piper (Broken Arrow, OK) and Chad Lock and his wife, Sarah (Keller, TX).
