Ginna Clair Smith

Ginna, age 68, passed away on Saturday, February 03, 2024, at OU Medical Center.  She was born December 31, 1955 in Oklahoma, to Brian Kent Smith and Virginia Bonnell Smith.  Ginna worked as Team Leader in Account Administration at American Fidelity for 32 years, where she made many lasting friendships.  Ginna loved her family very much.  She enjoyed big family gatherings where she would spend days in the kitchen baking and cooking family recipes.  She was the glue that kept the family together.  She had a passion for dogs, mostly ones that her siblings would bring home for her to take care of.  She enjoyed traveling with family and friends.  She accepted everyone with an open heart.  Ginna will be forever remembered by her brother Brian Smith, sister-in-law Ruby Smith, brother John Featherstone, brother Don Featherstone, sister-in-law Marsella Featherstone, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  She is reunited with her loving sister Bonnie Gae Smith.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite local animal shelter, The Humane Society, Free to Live, or Street Dog Rescue and Recovery.   Services are at 2:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery 2700 N. Shartel Ave. Oklahoma, Oklahoma 73106.
