Glenda Carol Brochu passed away suddenly on September 16, 2019, in Oklahoma City. She was born March 6, 1950, in Guthrie, OK. She grew up in Guthrie and graduated high school there. Glenda later moved to Stillwater and worked in the mailroom at Oklahoma State University where she met a student, Roger Brochu. They married September 10, 1982, in New York where he was stationed while serving in the US Air Force. They later returned to Oklahoma and Glenda worked in various positions of nursing care and became a registered medical assistant. She was very gifted making crafts and studying horticulture and became a meticulous gardener. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Dale Moore; mother, Ruth Evelyn Cotton; and two brothers, Glendale and Dennis Moore. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Roger; son, Robert Powell; daughter-in-law, Nicole Paisley; granddaughter, Rebecca Powell; two brothers, Darren (Elaine), Bruce Moore; and three sisters, Valerie Selig (Robert), Margaret Anzaney and Jeannie Phillips along with several nieces and nephews.
