Grace O’Briant Wildey

Grace was born July 31, 1922 to David O'Briant and Gertrude England O'Briant on the family farm near Binger, Oklahoma, and passed away on September 19, 2013, at 91 years of age. Grace met her husband, William "Bill" Wildey at St. Luke's Methodist Church where they both attended and were married on December 18, 1970. Grace retired as an executive secretary at Kerr-McGee. Grace had six brothers, Ray, Ralph (died in infancy), Walter, Chester, Carl and J.E. and three sisters, Mildred Kirksey, Marie Lanier and Thelma Opitz.. She is survived by her husband, Bill, her sister Thelma Opitz of Chickasha and 19 nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Rose Hill Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the St. Luke's church family for their abundant love and support. A special thank you also to their many caring neighbors and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Luke Methodist Church, 222 N.W. 15th St., Oklahoma City, in memory of Grace or to the charity of your choice.
