Gregory Chase Huston, 37, beloved father, husband, son, brother, and dear friend, died on October 15, 2018 in Oklahoma City. Greg was born to Paul and Virginia (Branch) Huston on June 13, 1981 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Union High School where he was active in the drum line and choir, and Oklahoma State University where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and majored in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. He attended St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church in Tulsa and was President of the Episcopal Student Organization at OSU. Greg's summers in high school and college were spent at St. Crispin's Episcopal Summer Camp, where he met many of his life-long friends and his future wife, Kate Carney. They married in 2008. Greg worked for the Hal Smith Restaurant Group and was a manager at Charleston's. Whether at home, at church, or at work, hospitality governed his every waking moment. In Greg's company, family, friends, and strangers alike were made to feel welcomed, loved, and would always leave well-fed in body and soul. He would have it no other way. Greg often worked behind the scenes at church, preparing meals, and ensuring events went off without a hitch. He never met a stranger and was an advocate for those he worked with and loved. As a devoted father, husband, son, brother, and dear friend to many, Greg always served with a fun and open heart. Greg is survived by his wife, Kate, and daughter, Brigid (5), of the home; his brother, Jeff (Elisa), nephews, Clayton and Charlie, and niece, Eleanor; his parents, Ginny and Don Harban; along with uncles, aunts, cousins, and many beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul; and his grandparents, Bill and Olla Huston, and Clayton and Thelma Branch. Services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20th.
