Greg Wagoner, 61, was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, June 23rd. Greg was born in Coyle, OK, the second born son to Mary Lou and Dewayne Wagoner. He grew up in Oklahoma City, attending Harding and Northeast High School. He went on to obtain his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Oklahoma University in Norman, OK. (Boomer Sooner!) Greg established Professional Asbestos Services and built it into a successful air quality testing and abatement company which has been in operation for over 30 years. His career path led him to Oviedo, Florida, where he has resided since 1993. Without question, Greg's proudest accomplishment and greatest joy in life was his son, Zachary. He was an amazingly devoted and loving father, and Zachary is one of the finest young men you will ever meet. Greg never met a stranger and was a friend to all. This is evidenced by the many close friendships he nurtured and maintained over his lifetime. He was always up for an adventure and loved being in the outdoors - especially on the water or the beach. A few years ago, Greg met the love of his life, Nancy Rivera. They were married on November, 2, 2019. Their days were filled with love, laughter, and Nancy's delicious cooking! Although Greg's health had declined in recent years, he always maintained a positive attitude and unwavering faith in God. Greg was preceded in death by his brother and hero, Stephen Wagoner, his father, Dewayne, his beloved mother, Mary Lou, and his companion, Jake, the Border Collie. Greg is survived by his wife, Nancy, his son, Zachary, his sister, Nichole Shepherd and her family, his step-mom Melinda Wagoner, cherished friend, Ben Schonwald, siblings, Todd Wagoner and Lisa Hohenstein, "bonus" daughter, Nikol Lawyer and her family, as well as countless friends and chosen family across the country. A celebration of Greg's life will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:00am at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, 14624 N. May Ave. in Oklahoma City. Burial immediately following at Rose Hill, 6001 N. Pennsylvania. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 2nd, from 9:00am-6:00pm.To view the memorial video, please go to the following link:https://www.tributeslides.com/videos/embedded_video/D4B7GFMCFNZ77NGH
