Griffin Jones Chill

Griffin Jones Chill was born on September 29, 2010 to Jeff & Karlee Chill. In His tremendous goodness & mercy, God took Griffin home to heaven on August 21, 2017, five years to the day after his twin brother Logan, who suffered from the same genetic disorder. Griffin was also welcomed into heaven by great grandparents Helen & Johnny Burns, Norma Jean Sharp, Basil & Ellen Sharp, W.O. & VaLondia Hawkins and many other friends and family. In addition to his parents, Griffin is survived by his adoring baby sister Evelyn; grandparents Bruce & Teresa Chill and Larry & Susan Sharp; great grandparents Al & Lois Chill; aunts and uncles Lauren & Clayton Sargeant, Lacie & Brian Hill, Brant & Lauren Chill, Greg & Mallory Evans, Shay Sharp and Maggie Sharp; cousins Channing, Maddox & Walker Hill, Sophie & Sam Sargeant, Charlotte & Nora Evans and Avery & Ellie Chill, all of Oklahoma City; and many great aunts, great uncles and cousins. Our strong, brave boy was a fanatic for everything super heroes & Legos. He loved watching movies, playing video games, wrestling & playing soccer with his dad; cuddling, pretending & going to the movies with his mom; but being a big brother was probably his proudest moment. If we had let him, he would have survived on cheeseburgers, milkshakes, pizza, popcorn & Sprite. He was a proud graduate of Warm World school, and he was sure to keep everyone in line with his strong will and stubborn spirit. Griffin was a true joy to be around. He enjoyed the simplicities of life and taught us to find joy & be content in every circumstance. Griffin brightened so many lives, we ask that all friends and loved ones attending the memorial service join them in wearing bright colors to celebrate his life. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 24 from 12pm to 5pm at Smith & Kernke, 14624 North May. A celebration of his life will be at 3pm on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Life.Church Northwest Campus, 5561 Northwest Expressway.
