Charles Henry (Hank) Bradley passed away August 4th, 2013 with his family at his side, ending a long courageous battle with heart and neurological ailments. Hank was born July 9, 1938 in Oklahoma City to James and Mary Lee Bradley. He attended St. Gregory's High School in Shawnee and graduated in 1956. While in high school, he was active in athletics and scouting and earned the highest rank of Eagle Scout. After high school he attended St. Gregory's College and Oklahoma City University, where he was a member of the Lambda Chi fraternity. He received a Bachelor's degree from OCU in 1960. He met the love of his life, Linda Louise Schmitt, in 1955. They were married on August 29th, 1959 and he started a family and a successful sales career in Oklahoma City. A longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Hank was devoted to his family and his faith. He was renowned for his laid-back personality and sense of humor, which endeared him to countless friends and business associates. Among his numerous interests were fishing and family time at Lake Tenkiller, OU football, Chicago Cubs baseball, tennis, and landscaping. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father Cecil Tansel of Chandler; and brother Jim Bradley of Oklahoma City. Hank is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda, of the home; daughter Suzanne (Zan) of Oklahoma City; daughter Diane Ward, her husband Paul of Oklahoma City and their sons Sean and Adam; son Charles (Hank), Jr., his wife Aimee of Norman and their sons William and Andrew; and daughter Melissa of Eugene, OR. He is also survived by his sister Mary Lee Hagen and her husband Arlen of Palo Alto, CA; sister Lucy Dierker and her husband Bill of Tulsa; sister-in-law Pat Bradley of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law Anne Hagen of Hot Springs Village, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews. A wake service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 8th at the Smith & Kernke Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 9th at Christ the King Catholic Church.
