Harry John Grisser, Jr.

Harry J. Grisser, Jr., 79 was born 12/15/37 in St. Louis, Mo., and passed away 7/26/17. He was the son of Harry J. Grisser, Sr. & Mary (Bay) Grisser of St. Louis, Mo. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Donald R. Grisser. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia (Sievers) Grisser; daughter, Elaine M. Grisser of Oklahoma City; son, Michael S. Grisser; daughter-in-law, Tracy (Rogers) Grisser; grandsons, Gabriel and Nathan Grisser and granddaughter, Elizabeth Grisser all of Edmond, Ok. Harry served in the U.S. Coast Guard as an Engineman. He began his General Motors career in St. Louis principally in Purchasing. He stayed in Purchasing and was transferred to Lordstown, Ohio, then to Memphis, Tenn. and back to Lordstown, Ohio. In 1977, he came to Oklahoma City as Purchasing Manager when the plant was being built. After 36 years with GM, he retired in 1992.
