Helen Ann was born in Wilburton, Okla. and passed away in Oklahoma City. She was raised and graduated from High School in Wilburton. She attended Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton. She later attended and graduated from University of Oklahoma with her Masters degree in Education. She taught first grade at Buchanan Elementary School for the Oklahoma City Public Schools. While teaching she met her husband Thad and began working with him at his insurance agency. After his death Helen Ann sold the agency and managed rental property. She was a devout catholic and a committed member of Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church. She was also a member Oklahoma City Republican Woman's Club and was big Alumni in her sorority Delta Gamma at OU. She liked playing bridge and the piano. She enjoyed taking care of her husband and had a very great sense of humor. She was a huge OU football fan. She loved her four nephews and one niece as if they were her own. She is survived by her a daughter, Kelly Middendorf and husband Jon; a son, Clarke Farmer and wife Misty; and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 29th from noon to 7pm with the family present from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Thursday, April 30th at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church with burial to follow in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
