Henrietta Mae Krejci

Henrietta Mae Krejci, 100, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2015. Her long and remarkable life is a testament to her devotion to family, friends and her ability to courageously meet the challenges of her life. Early years were spent in and around Pond Creek, Oklahoma. She attended and graduated from Oklahoma Women's College, which later became the University of Oklahoma. She married her Joe Krejci in 1939. She became a full-time homemaker with the births of her two children. Henrietta maintained her independence and was able to enjoy her own home until her death due in large part to extraordinary neighbors Mike and Mona Spivey, Toby and Trish O'Brien and family support. She leaves behind her son Terry (Patti), daughter Janice (Charley), five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Smith-Kernke Funeral Home 14624 N. May Ave. on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm. Graveside services will be Tuesday April 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, OK.
