Holland D. Harris, age 87, of Mustang, Oklahoma entered Heaven's gates to once again be in the arms of his true love on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Born August 7, 1930 in Blanchard, Oklahoma, he was the son of Thomas Edker Ray and Ruby Viola Harris. In elementary school, Holland fell in love at first sight with the beautiful Wanda England and knew that he would eventually marry her. The two dated, and later married on November 20, 1948. The Lord blessed them with three gorgeous girls, Jody, Regina, and Kemberly. Holland worked for Peterbilt for 35 years, specializing in air conditioning, starters, was a in-cab specialist and also served as the shop foreman for several years; eventually leading to his retirement in 1998. He was a lifetime member of NRA and had a lifetime fishing license that none of his family knew he had. Holland was an incredible father but an even better "Papo" to all of his grandchildren. He was always known for never knowing a stranger and for his famous saying, "Love you the mostest". He will be greatly missed by everyone.
He is survived by his three daughters, Jody and David Moulton, Regina and Craig Clifton, and Kemberly and Tracy Curtin; seven grandchildren, Rodney and Michelle Butcher, Eric and Alicia Hill, Sheena Cuenca, Jimmy Hill, Molly and Travis Wilson, Kelsi Curtin, and Madison and Chris Carnathan; nine great-granchildren, Morgan and Galveston Suazo, Logan Butcher, Cameron Butcher, Kaylee A. Hill, Christopher A. Hill, Max Cuenca, Londyn Cuenca, Vincent P. Hill, and Liam Carnathan; two sisters, Donnie Griffin and Martha Duvall; one brother, Bill Harris, and also survived by many nieces and nephews and other extended family. He was proceeded in death by his parents; one brother, Edker Ray Harris; two sisters, Dorothoy Morgan and Mary White; and his loving wife of 43 years, Wanda Harris. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 12p.m. to 6 p.m.. The celebration of life will be held at 10a.m. Monday, March 5, 2018, at Smith & Kernke North May Chapel. Burial will follow at Lone Chapel Cemetery in Adair, Oklahoma at 3 p.m.
