Jack D. "Rowdy" Rowton Jr., 64, died at his Edmond home on Monday evening. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patricia Rowton; his sister, Janie Pierce, brother-in-law, Charles Pierce, sister-in-law, Jude Ann Hamilton and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and best friend Jack D. Rowton Sr., mother, Jean Stockwell; sisters, Jeri Imke and Vickie Stroud, and his mother-in-law, Dorothy W. Hamilton. He was born in Oklahoma City and attended John Marshall High School. He was an avid Sooner fan. Services will be held Friday, October 2 at 9 a.m. in the Abbey Mausoleum at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City. He was a good man and will be missed by the many that knew him as a generous and loyal friend.
