Jack K. Wells, III of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on March 20, 2023 of natural causes. Jack enlisted in the Marines on January 3, 1969. After the Marines, he joined the Oklahoma City Police Department where he served 27 years. During that time he enjoyed coaching little league sports and being a Scoutmaster. After retiring from the Oklahoma City Police Department, he worked for six years for the United States Marshall Service as an Air Security Officer.Jack is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; daughter, Michelle Colon and her husband Delano; and granddaughter, McKenzie Ruark and her husband Chapin, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jack is also survived by his son Jack K. Wells, IV and his wife Candi and grandchildren Jaycee, Jenkins and Jack K. Wells, V, all of Edmond, Oklahoma. Jack was preceded in death by his son Rocky Wells and grandson Nathan Colon. Jack enjoyed spending his retirement at his ranch hunting and fishing. He would always say he was going to God's country.Memorial contributions may be made to Mission 22, 694 N.
