(Oklahoma City, OK) - Jacob Lunsford Hall passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2024 at the tender age of 29.
Born on October 29, 1994 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as the youngest of triplets to Michael and Valisha Trammell Hall, Jacob brought joy to all who knew him. He had a creative mind and was a skilled writer. Jacob’s passion for literature, movies, and music was infectious, and he could always be found with a book and a recommendation of what to read, watch, or put on a playlist. Despite his challenges, Jacob was passionate about many fields and was always able to carry on meaningful conversation. His gentle and loving nature will be missed.
Jacob attended Classen SAS for middle school and high school, where he was involved in choir and the swim team. He possessed a bright mind, a thirst for knowledge, and later earned his bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State College in 2022. He also had a fearless passion for exploration and traveled to many states.
Those who knew Jacob all agree that he had a big heart. He had a special love for animals, and was especially proud of his dog, Rocky.
Jacob leaves behind a heartbroken and grieving family, including parents Valisha and Bob Gray, Michael and Valerie Hall, sister Emily and her husband Jude Bendure, and grandmothers Minna Hall and Sarah Trammell, as well as step-siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by sister Elizabeth, and grandfathers Pete Trammell and William Hall.
A memorial service to celebrate Jacob’s life will be held on April 13, at 2:00 pm at Saint Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church 14700 North May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73134. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to NAMI or The Homeless Alliance.
Jacob's light may have been extinguished too soon, but the warmth of his memory will forever shine in our hearts. Rest in peace, Jacob.
