James Dreis Gormley, M.D.

James D Gormley MD December 27, 1937-March 5, 2016. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and physician. He proudly served the Navy 1955-1958. He was a friend of Bill W since 5/7/77. He is preceded in death by his angel Philip, little buddy Clara, his brother John, and his parents Frank and Johanna. He cared for the children of Oklahoma for over 40 years. He is survived by Nancy, his beloved wife of 51 years, children: Jim, Hanna, Chris and Andy and their spouses Kristie, Wes, Vonnie, and Lauri. He also enjoyed each minute with his 9 grandchildren, Olive and Piper, Megan and Sarah, Zoe and Dreis, Kohl, Casey, and Colin, and great grandchild Greer. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Eugene Catholic Church Thursday 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation.
