Mark was large in life and large in love. He loved his Lord, his daughter, his family, friends and life. He never complained and he made the best of every situation. He loved to learn, he loved to travel, he loved to study the Bible, he loved to watch tv and read books. He really loved to be with his family, and he had a large one. Mark was born in Oklahoma City on July 5, 1956 and left us peacefully on September 3, 2010, at the age of 54. Mark's education started at Luther Burbank Elementary, and Taft Junior High followed by Heritage Hall Class of 1974, then Oklahoma City University and finally OU College of Medicine. He had a quick mind and never forgot anything he ever read. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout, was a National Merit Scholar and a Boys State Delegate. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, and a medical doctor who was board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Mark loved to attend church and invoke deep discussion, sometimes to the dismay of the class leader. He was a member of Nichols Hills Baptist, and then as it became Quail Springs Baptist, Highland Park Presbyterian and currently, Crossings Community Church. Mark passed away in total peace, slipping in sleep from his earthly body into his beautiful heavenly one. He was greeted by my Dad, Harry, who went to heaven on April 29. Mark's passing has left us raw and grieving, but with a very strong conviction that he is content, safe and forever in the loving arms of his personal Lord, Jesus Christ. He leaves a daughter in Dallas, Ellen Anne Murphy, his Mom, Anne Murphy, his sister and brother in law, Tami Murphy-Moore and Trip Moore, niece and nephew Clif and Hannah Moore. Mark had special aunts and uncles, as well as lots of cousins and their children, whom he loved. Visitation Monday,
