Trena Janelle Hovorka was born July 17, 1962 to Jack and Margie (Williams) Rolland. Janelle left our world far too soon in the evening of July 8, 2019 with her loving family surrounding her and her devout Catholic faith as her anchor. Janelle grew up in south Oklahoma City. Following high school graduation, she continued her education and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Central State. While working at Putt-Putt miniature golf she met Joseph "Jay" Hovorka, they married May 14, 1983. In 1985 Jay and Janelle moved to California where they would eventually welcome into their lives, two daughters. Janelle mastered the balance of work and motherhood with an emphasis on motherhood by being home with the girls each day for after school snacks. She had a variety of interests that all centered around time spent with her family, included singing karaoke; constructing intricate lego structures with them; and watching Star Trek and Horror movies together. Janelle was also a dedicated pet mom to her dogs Tilly and Slater.A few years following her return to Oklahoma, she continued her career in accounting with the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. She truly loved her responsibilities, the environment and partnerships of coworkers who became like family. Janelle will be forever remembered for her selfless nature; her grace and abounding faith that inspired others; as well as her innate way of connecting with people. Janelle was always your #1 fan.
