Janice Boren Hill of Edmond, OK, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2018 at the age of 78. Janice was born and raised in Jackson, TN but spent the majority of her life in the Oklahoma
City Metro.
Janice earned her bachelor's degree in English Literature from Union University in Jackson, TN and later received a master's degree in History from Texas Christian University. Her career in insurance began with New York Life and later becoming an independent agent specializing in Group Health Insurance.
Janice cherished spending time with family and friends as well as traveling the world; visiting such places as Europe, China, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South America and Antarctica. She was a member of Church of the Servant, TLC Sunday School class, Beta Sigma Phi and Clubettes. Janice was an expert bridge player and loved gardening but her true passion was definitely shopping for shoes. Anyone that knew her can attest to that.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Leona Boren. She is survived by her husband, Boyce, children Brent, Tom and Judy, grandchildren Emily and Matthew and brother and sister in law Donald and Peggy Boren of Bowling Green, OH.
