Herbert Clark and Crescentia Georgiana Westerhaus in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from the Dallas Public School system. She was encouraged by her father to be as independent as possible and be prepared for a successful life by going to college. She first attended Texas Women's University then transferring to Texas Technological College (now Texas Tech University) graduating in 1950. It was at Texas Tech that she met the love of her life, Ralph L. Krottinger. She first noticed him at a Lutheran church sponsored college event. She started inviting him to other socials until he succumbed to her invitation. The rest is history. They were married July 1, 1950 in Dallas Texas. Her career in business and as an accountant took a backseat to being a wife and mother. She and Ralph were the proud parents of Suanne Krottinger Oliver, Mark L. Krottinger and Carol Krottinger Lott. They moved many times throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. She did return to work in the accounting field eventually rising to become the Chief Financial Officer of the Oklahoma Blood Institute. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph L. Krottinger. She is survived by her children Suanne Oliver(James), Mark Krottinger (Mary), and Carol Lott (Dale); 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and her sister.
