Jean was born to Bill and Tina Davis on September 8, 1928 in Hopper, Arkansas. She was child number three of eleven children. Jean attended elementary school at Hopper, Arkansas and high school at Caddo Gap, Arkansas. She attended business school in Little Rock. After graduating from business school, she came to Oklahoma City to work for a credit company, and later C. R. Anthony Company. She married Robert D. Coleman on September 14, 1952. In 1959, Bob and Jean bought Peery's Flowers, later becoming Coleman's Flowers, which they owned and operated and still remains in the family. Jean was a long-time member of the Northwest Christian Church. Jean was predeceased by her parents and sisters Ellen and Gloria Davis. She is survived by husband Bob of the home, a daughter Susan Janette and husband Jerry Shebester of Oklahoma City, Michael Duane Coleman and wife Teresa of Enid, and Scott Davis Coleman of Oklahoma City. Three grandchildren Matthew Coleman and fiancée Janiesue Jones of Stillwater, Chelsea and husband Chad Williams of Enid, and Adam Coleman of Enid. Also surviving are two great grandchildren Kayla Livesay and Levi David Coleman. She is also survived by sisters Helen Robison of Bokoshe, OK, Faye George of Spring, TX, Nelda Winkler of Giddings, TX, and Bonnie Reid of Sugar Land, TX, brothers Wilburn Davis of San Marcos, TX, James Davis and wife Karen of Midwest City, Frank Davis and wife Judy of Edmond and Danny Davis and wife Marta of Benton, AR.. along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
