Jerry Shebester

Jerry passed away in Oklahoma City on Dec. 7, 2013. He was born June 2, 1936, in Ardmore, OK, the son of Ralph Shebester and Mildred (Lansford) Shebester. He graduated from Pauls Valley High School and earned his degree in Petroleum Engineering from OU where he was a member of ATO. He is survived by his wife, Susan of the home; his children, Lorrie Carruth of Norman, Michael Shebester of Houston, TX, Mark Shebester of Pauls Valley, Jonathan Johnson of Oklahoma City, and Clarissa Blackburn and husband John of Wynnewood; grandchildren, Joey Shebester of Sulphur, Kevin Blackburn of Wynnewood, Shaylea Shebester of Tulsa, Jimmy Shebester of Carrolton, TX, and Josh, Michelle, Lauren and Jill.; siblings, Mary Watkins and husband Vaughan of Madison, MS, Norma Lohmann of Norman; nieces, Debbie Jones of MS, Teri McGehee of MS, and Angela Alper of GA; aunt, Maxine Carlton of Pauls Valley; and many other extended relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter-in-law, Lisa Shebester; niece, Tammy Frazier, and nephew, Jeff Lohmann.
